This is a bullshit article; more evidence that needs to die.
Facing shortage of high-skilled workers, employers are seeking more immigrant talent, study finds cnbc.com/2021/06/10/study-empl

Let me fix that title, "Facing shortage of high-skilled workers willing to work for lower wages than their skill set and experience dictate, employers are seeking more low-cost, immigrant talent".

Got a call from a job recruiter /sarcasm today from a very poor speaker of my language and was struggling to read the job position script. It's obvious that this is now a low wage skill. As an employer, I wouldn't be happy, but then again the employer obviously hired this cut rate service.

Buzz word bingo recruiting was bad, but the field has really devolved into useless these days. You'd think if there was actually a shortage of SWEs, then more effort would go into recruitment.

So #debian 11.0 #bullseye has a tentative release date of July 31. On June 17 we will have a confirmed release date.

"Give me a break don't tell me
That life is great in the big city
It's all based on money and greed
Everything you'll never need"
- Subhumans (UK) from Big City

"Spent my whole life in the city
Where junk is king and the air smells shitty
People puking everywhere,
Piles of blood, scabs and hair
Bodies wasted in defeat
People dying on the streets
But suburban scumbags they don't care
They just get fat and dye their hair"
- Fear from "I love living in the city"

Should we blame society for high cholesterol?

The foreign tech megacorps are going to lash back at this G7 tax proposal rnz.co.nz/news/world/444134/ri by dividing and conquering, and they've got just the tool to do it: secret ISDS claims which are part of the CPTPPA that NZ and a bunch of other silly countries ratified. Will be interesting to see - although, of course, the suits brought will be secret.

Software development processes have got to be the longest running con game in the industry. They are never backed by anything more than anecdotal data, and they are always extended into development areas outside of even their slim anecdotal evidence.

scrum has to be one of the worst, as it is just thinly veiled Taylorism.
