OSI for Plagiarism/GPL Violations (Under the Guise of “Hey Hi”)… Brought to You by Microsoft

Hi fediverse! Boosts appreciated on this one.

I’m part of a co-op building a platform for artists to sell art without getting exploited. I’ve been working on it for a while but there’s a lot of work to do and I could use some help. A ton of the main features are in place, but there’s still some big gaps and a lot of polish left before it can launch.

The platform is fully open source and developed in the open. It’s built on Phoenix/Elixir and Tailwindcss. Our co-op is already incorporated and established and it’s open to members that want to actually commit but you don’t need to be a member to contribute or help.

Does this sound interesting? I’d love some help! I’m also happy to answer questions. And no, you don’t need to know Elixir already. It’s pretty easy to learn for the things you’d be using it for. Even some design help would be welcome. Feel free to reply here or DM me!

@lightweight @Hyolobrika One thing that Gary Stevenson pointed out is that sometimes the stimulus is necessary, but you have to have a plan to get it back. Governments can get it back by letting inflation reduce the value of the debt, or they can get it back through increased taxation.

Wow, this is an impressive guy (poor kid 'made good' - best trader in the UK) and interview. invidious.snopyta.org/watch?v= or youtube.com/watch?v=ViY-zI3b5J "Gov'ts have many mechanisms for giving money to the rich. Govt needs a system to take it back from the rich". #fixInequity This dude drops some seriously rightous truth bombs.

In the month since the Roanoke drag brunch, we've received an absurd amount of media inquiries generally revolving around two questions; 1-why were we there? 2-why did those who chose to protest the show come?

Business groups block action that could help tackle biodiversity crisis, report finds - theguardian.com/environment/20 never forget: these people are not on our side

@lightweight I always want to respond to "Bless you." when I sneeze with, "Please don't insult my intelligence." It's one of the million ways people in the USA like to impose Christianity on you.

The excuse for not doing something right is that it has never been done right before and the whole ecosystem is built around it being done wrong.

I've never referenced Redmonk's programming language usage analysis, and after reading TechRights yesterday, I'm glad to not have referenced an analysis paid for by Microsoft, using data provided by Microsoft.
