New research has found that old newspaper provide a cheap and green solution for the bulk production of single walled carbon nanotubes.

Interesting to observe how closely two coworkers, who were at the same previous small company, view managing people. Both seem to be stuck in the mandate makes better workplace involvement phase.

Very few seem to understand that, "Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical" corporate power scenario.

@jacethechicken you can't solve the problem if you mischaracterize it. If you killed off all the old men (note the cartoon doesn't mention race, and neither did I), you'd still be left with plenty of monsters holding a disproportionate amount of wealth.

Sorry but It Really Is Too Late to Save the World

Even if humanity slams on the brakes, stopped emitting carbon dioxide and goes back to horses and buggies, global warming will continue for at least a few more decades. So although Donald Trump and his rolling back of air pollution emissions standards are annoying, it’s probably too late anyway.

@byllgrim@mastodon.xyz Probably sells great to the managers who believe in mandating innovation. (Yes. I've actually worked at a company that tried to do this.) These same managers also believe in MBO (Management By Objectives).
