@lightweight I always do a RAID1 drive as well as backups. It saved me once, but doubles the hard drive budget.
@lightweight Like I said, I use backups as well, and I certainly wouldn't expect a carbon copy of my drive (RAID1) to fix a bad install. For a hard drive failure, the fix is usually just swapping in the carbon copy disk.
@lwriemen My home server's got RAID'd nvmes for the root partition, but not my desktop. I could do it... ๐ค Will ponder.
