@tschak Mastodon has been incredibly down on AI as of late, so its nice to actually hear a levelheaded take on the topic.

I've been dabbling with it for a month or so now on an open source project of mine and its pretty neat stuff. My free time is at an absolute premium these days, so I feel absolutely no guilt about having these things provide extra code review or make some unit tests. It just means I can produce a something better than before in less time. Its just a tool.

@thomasorus I used to use it and I will agree that the cosmic DE does look nice, but at this point I'm just too used to using GNOME. Also, at least when I tried it some months ago, it still had some growing pains (as it is a new DE). I ultimately ended up switching over to project bluefin. PopOS, pre-cosmic was actually pretty great, but I feel like it got a bit worse during my time using it. That said, if you are curious... spin it up and see what you think for yourself.
