#Pinetime #InfiniTime user on Linux? You might want to give #watchmate a try! It's a fairly new companion app that already supports many features (notifications, music control,...) and it even allows flashing the new resources from InfiniTime!

@MissBehave @JF I feel like I had it paired with the L5 at one point, but yeah I have had no luck getting it paired for the past couple of weeks. Here's to hoping it's an issue with BLE and will be resolved by the new WIFI/BT card.

@joao great to hear, thanks for your answer (and for your&purisms work!) may i throw in another question: do you by any chance know if the rather bad GPS is a software thing (and will improve over time) or a hardware thing? right now, outside of big cities it is very inaccurate and takes long to even "find" the device. Thx again in advance!

@janvlug @joao
ok, after i played aeound with the gnss-test proposed in the purism-forum (thx!), i actually got a feeling on how to get an gps-fix (need two minutes outside of a building, does not matter if it is cloudy or not). after the fix, gps is pretty good (for car navigation, navigating on foot through the city etc). the only improvable ting left now is, that it takes some time after opening a map to find your real position erven through wifi/mobile :)

@leimon @JF
my new wifi-card arrived and did indeed solve the problem wit the #pinetime!:)

@MissBehave @leimon good news! Have fun with your PineTime and librem5!
