I'm still holding out hope that eventually consumer backlash will be such that the trend of turning modern cars into smartphones with all the anti-privacy and monetization features will stop. Or at least there will be some modern alternative.

Until then I'm thankful my older cars are working well.

The work on upgrading the operating system for the #Librem5 Linux phone is progressing well.

The work on this is funded by #Purism and people that have totally optional PureOS subscriptions.

The name of the official Purism #Linux distribution for the Librem5 is #PureOS.

The current version is #Byzantium, the next version will be #Crimson.

Taking an PureOS subscription helps funding.

It's a bit ironic that the audio is crap when talking about the new audio stuff for FOSDEM but that's what you get for ad-hoc plugging in another microphone and not setting the levels.
