I am getting schooled by @shawnp0wers @katherined @kyle on @reality2cast about how to use Mastodon. Like, just learned that on searls.com I can put the rel="me" tag in a link back to my handle here. Unless I misunderstood, which happens.
@kyle @shawnp0wers @dsearls @reality2cast I think a good mobile app also helps with a positive Mastadon experience. I think the Mastadon iOS app is pretty good, and I also like Metatext.
@katherined @kyle @shawnp0wers @dsearls @reality2cast I am a huge fan of the Toot! app - though it's all I can do to not laugh every time I get a toot notification in a meeting.
@Wildbill @katherined @kyle @shawnp0wers @dsearls @reality2cast on Android devices we can only get the tooot app not the toot! app. Less exclamatory but extra ooo.
@katherined @kyle @shawnp0wers @dsearls @reality2cast agreed! I'm just getting started with Mastodon and I'm going between the Android app and web interface because the official app doesn't support lists. I've started to look at the alternatives.
