@katherined One take away for me was the positive view of experience, working for a long time with the #Linux #kernel is seen as useful and positive. It included that the #maintainer role for specific parts of the kernel is firstly connected to the person and not to the company the person works for, hence the role moves with the person when changing job/company.
@katherined It was interesting listen to this episode of #FlossWeekly about the #Linux #kernel! I don’t understand all, I’m not a sw developer, but enough interested and to learn whatever it is, I must go beyond what I understand today. Linux is fascinating! #Opensource is fascinating!
