@thewk Same, it's really impressive what people have been able to accomplish on minimal hardware. I just wish that would fix the sound server bug I'm experiencing so I could use my as my daily driver not the regular.

@thewk First reply toot from on my ! The interface is a little laggy so it occassionally zooms to the bottom of the feed but otherwise is a nice application.

@bitwarden Is this Hashicorp Vault alternative in the works by any chance?

@tbernard Is there an archive of this? Also did it mention E2E?

@alto We use Matrix at my work for the non-work conversations every day. It works very well but the sync need improving, which I hear is in the works at the moment.

Fedi is the most strange thing in the world.

On normal social media, you write a message and people just ignore it forever.

Here, you write a message, it stays ignored for 1 or 2 years, and then all of a sudden, for no reason, with no explanation, someone finds it somehow, boosts it, and it gets 200 likes and 120 boosts.

What the fuck.

I'm sure someone will boost this message in 2021 or 2022.

Reasonable Colors is an open-source colour system for making accessible colour palettes.

It uses an intuitive system of shades to help you select colours which meet the appropriate WCAG contrast rating, even if you're mixing and matching base colours:

@thewk Welcome to the club! =]

In case you wanted to listen on your phone there are two apps, Gelli and Finamp, both work great and allow direct streaming or converting.

If I remember rightly, you also have a WireGuard setup so you can stream over that connection.

@PINE64 The earbuds were real?! I disbelieve the entire internet on that day so I dismissed it. I 100% want these.

@jawsh I was wondering why my calls weren't working properly on my ! So it's a problem with the wireless charging pad? I'll give it a go without and see if it start behaving.

@thewk Oldish laptop, Kodi and an lirc remote. You can setup Kodi with a bunch of plugins and send Youtube videos from your phone to it etc.

@agx By moving do you mean it will be going from the main desktop interface and will only be available on the lockscreen or it's coming to lockscreen as well?

@thewk Ah kk, let me know how it goes. I've run into some issues unlocking the bootloader because the current recommended procedure requires Windows as Linux has permissions on it's USB devices to Chrome can't currently take control of them and support aren't answering so I can't get the unlock key from JingLing.

@publiclewdness@linuxrocks.online Depends on the distro at the moment. Manjaro using the testing branch used about 20% battery life in a 12 hour period but that was with no use at all. When you use the device it drains pretty fast right now, about 2-3 hours of proper screen time.

@thewk Just took a long at the forums and the JingOS-Team account hasn't done anything since 20th of Feb. And they stopped replying to me at via the support email on 14th of Feb. If they miss releasing something for the end of March deadline promised in there release schedule then I'm gonna call it and flash in April.

@thewk Yep, they stopped replying to me after replacing my and it had the exact same screen ghosting issue, this was shortly after Chinese new year and are not even looking at the forums when asked about a 1.3 update. Guess I'll have to put on it but I would love to find a way to have or on it instead.

Does anyone know how to make a application just to render a webpage? Preferably with hardware acceleration but not 100% needed. I'm trying to do a workflow where I develop in html+css+javascript, have it available for free on the web and wrap it in a native program to extend it a bit.
