Moving my music service away from spotify and youtube to my own stack, selfhosted via jellyfin went really well. Less things I don't want to hear, and a couple of discoveries from my old CD and LP collection, like some Versions of Beatles Songs they recorded in German.
It actually made me listen to music more often again.

Feels good to be free of an algorithm again, that decided what I should listen to :-)

@thewk Welcome to the club! =]

In case you wanted to listen on your phone there are two apps, Gelli and Finamp, both work great and allow direct streaming or converting.

If I remember rightly, you also have a WireGuard setup so you can stream over that connection.

@joshfowler Thanks!

I use finamp on my phone, works really and yes, I stream via WireGuard.

However in the car I opted for r-syncing my MediaFiles to a usb drive and exporting my playlists to m3u.
Less data and works without a phone too
