@PINE64 Is this preorder for the #pinebookpro just for community members? I'd like in on it, but I also understand if the first batch goes to the long time community members. Wasn't sure if the batch size was large enough for us noobs to get in behind the community on it or if we need to wait for one of the next batches. If so, any rough guess how long between batches?
@PINE64 Ah I thought there were ANSI ones coming later. Good to know I can swap it out myself. I will defiantly be preordering then, try it out knowing if I just can’t adapt I can swap it. End user choice and ability to customize for the win. Thanks for all the work you are doing!
@PINE64 Will there be an option for ansi keyboards on this preorder that will get you in line for those, or will it be a separate preorder when that option is ready? My plan is to use it for a coffee shop coding machine, build server at home for anything it can’t handle locally(hopefully not much)

I’d just like to thank @purism for their instance policies. I’ve noticed some blow back from the fediverse and thought I’d throw some positive vibes their way. This is my second time giving the toot wagon a ride. The first time I quit because of how the fediverse treated wil weaton. Don’t listen to them when they say they have moderating figured out. I think talking about protecting your users’ free speech is much needed here.
