Finished "Flesh" by David Szalay. Amazing rhythm. There is little I hate more in reading fiction than paragraphs that never end -- this is the opposite, so many semantically overlapping one sentence paragraphs that get everything done with room to spare. Definitely want to read more by him.
Starting "A Psalm for the Wild-Built" by Becky Chambers as a familiar short and probably not dark or twisted break between Bookers. #books

I didn't think there was any chance that Erebus Crater would get picked as one of the 3 #fountainpen inks from the 2025 Colorvent for Colorverse to keep producing. I'm over the moon that it did! One of my favorite inks right now and I was afraid I was going to run out.

I don't remember seeing weather forecasts vary this much. The one I look at says < 1" of snow for us. The one a friend showed me said 18"-21" of snow for us.

Did you notice it's 1/15 and I've not been here trying to raise the last of our match? That's because we made our largest challenge ever already! \o/
But! Two new donors challenged us to raise another $40k by 2/5!
I know there's so much going on right now, but #softwarefreedom remains a key longterm issue. We're preparing for the Vizio trial to bring consumers rights, running an amazing #Outreachy round & working hard for our member projects.

I don't think I'm saying anything new to a lot of people here, but I'm remembering times in the last 10 years people oversimplifying the problems out of a well-meaning desire to have clear ethical lines shot down / shouted down projects that would have significantly advanced user freedom over forest/trees complaints about potential "SaaSS" elements in those projects.
