I talked with Debian fathers, Bruce Perens and Bdale Garbee about Debian #Linux's early days.
The #ScienceFiction and #Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) Adds #Poetry and #Translation As Qualifying Works for Membership
The overwhelmingly positive results (90% yes for poetry; 83% yes for translated works) affirm that SFWA members are eager to welcome poets and translators into the organization.

@joshaspinall I try not to carry 2 phones, but I do when the #PinePhone is going through a rough patch, as it is now for me. Still my primary phone but I carry a backup cheap stock Android phone. I also keep that around so I can tell a little better when a problem is on my end vs the provider's.
Lovely hike this morning with Nessie, assisted by #PinePhone GPS and PureMaps. (Photos not with Pine though.) #dogsofmastodon

Happy 30th to the Debian project! 🥳
We're celebrating with a special episode featuring DPL @highvoltage!
Proud today to be a #Debian Developer, even just as a minor contributor on the keyring team. I don't agree with every decision the project makes, but I agree with participating in a project that makes democratic decisions toward the goal of user freedom and by the way is technically excellent. I believe it has made and will continue to make the world a better place, and that there will be many internal and external challenges along the way.
