#librem5 _almost_ 13 hours uptime without suspend enabled. Wifi and mobile data off. When suspend is ready to be a default, which is almost, it will only get better.
@martijndevrieze I measured the phone in the conditions in which I needed to use it on that day. I did not needed wifi nor mobile data on that day. Only needed to make half a dozen phone calls. Most of my Internet usage during the week is on a laptop.
I usually do not like to use GPS, if there is a place I do not know how to get, I look up on a map at home, before going or I just ask folks on the street. wifi not being on, if I am on the street most of the day, I do not need wifi card on.
@joao don't get me wrong, i like what you did and am somewhat jealous cause I never received my librem5 and just gave up on it.
Switching off wifi when not home is just normal sanity and sanitary use ;)
Sounds like a not to bad battery life, but truly hope it will improve drastically still. My current graphene based pixel easily lasts up to 18 hours on 5g with quite extensive use.
@joao the flipping a switch is what i truly wish for on all my future phones. I love hardware switches.
@martijndevrieze Also I did not exactly hid that fact when I made the post.
But hey, today I still have 37% battery with 8h32 min uptime, and mobile data on.
Since I was most of the day so far in the street, I did not had wifi on.
Also disabling the wifi on the librem 5 is just flipping a switch on the side of the phone.
