@bazurk I hope so, but it is strange that at this point, so close to shipping, we have not yet seen a complete prototype of the phone only dev kits. There are still several TBDs as far as to the exact hardware. I am skeptical that they will be able to make the Q3 delivery time.
@bazurk That is good to know. Splitit's web page says they put a hold on the total amount and then gradually decrease the amount of the hold as payments are made. The checkout page when ordering does not mention this anywhere and the term of service are a little different at checkout. There is mention of required avaliable credit, but this is not defined. It is just confusing. A hold of $649 would seem to be equal to buying it outright because you can't spend the held amount.

@bazurk Do you know if splitit put a hold on your credit card/account for the total amount of the device or if they only charged you each month for each payment?
