@bazurk That is good to know. Splitit's web page says they put a hold on the total amount and then gradually decrease the amount of the hold as payments are made. The checkout page when ordering does not mention this anywhere and the term of service are a little different at checkout. There is mention of required avaliable credit, but this is not defined. It is just confusing. A hold of $649 would seem to be equal to buying it outright because you can't spend the held amount.
