@nixCraft I often use #nano because it's installed on many more #Linux systems by default and I may not have the privilege/network to install software on the system.
@zbecker@nixCraft Ok, but I'm talking about vim/emacs/nano here. Vim has never been installed by default for any embedded system I've worked on professionally.

Yeah, but my point is that if you know #vim, you basically know #vi
Personally I much prefer #vi to #nano
