Regrettably, I can't delete this account because of the platform's policies. I had hoped for a more respectful approach towards user choices. Quite antilibre and antisocial, isn't it?

@lunduke totally agree. Even Apple doesn't do so much nasty things such as surveillance of their customers and has a decent end of life for their products.

@tuxedocomputers

Wow, to my old country! Good to see there's still a FLOSS community out there! And openSUSE fans ;--)

Do you have a great idea about how to bring new coders into FOSS? Our Community Engagement Challenge was made for you! Get a head start on your application by checking out our FAQs. #GNOMEChallenge gnome.org/challenge/faq/

@purism that's cool! Hopefully the design will also follow the trends, in this particular case of simplification of the graphical elements.

@bryanlunduke wow, 22 board members of The Linux Foundation are from the most powerful tech giants, Microsoft included. The question is: why not an Apple representative?

@bryanlunduke Just finished, good jobs guys! The problem with Facebook is that for many people it's default gateway to the internet. The solution: make it open protocol like http or imap, make social media interoperable and I'll be the first one to delete it. But there's no way to pull my connections from there and here we are, into a siloed/splinternetwd social media world.

Surprise! We can't have a shiny new GNOME release without a shiny new release video!

Special thanks to Chris Rogers, @o0karen0o and @freehive for their hard work.

@annika I've started trial so I can see The Lodge 49. And now I don't know what I'm gonna do with it till end of the month. Any idea what to do with it till expires?

GNOME is not just a collection of applications and code - it's the heart and soul of the people who build and support it. We are fortunate to have such great people in our community! 😊

@purism my pick: openSUSE. What's yours non Debian based pick?
