I dream of a future where the general public doesn't need to rely on "the cloud" nor any self-hosted server to synchronize the state of applications between their different devices.

Wifi, bluetooth, or even a dead simple USB cable to synchronize our devices: we shouldn't need to send our (meta)data on anyone else's computer.

It looks like the latest kernel update reduced active power consumption by another 100-140mA based on my own measurements. I hear there are a lot more improvements in the pipeline once we switch from 5.3 to the 5.6 kernel.
