#Phosh's file selector (pfs) picked up existing 👍-nails of files since some time but didn't create missing ones. @arunmanij fixed that by creating a thumbnailing service. The file chooser calls into this service to request the creation of the missing thumbnails.

Having things in an extra service allows us to experiment with different implementations (it currently uses GnomeDesktopThumbnail under the hood) and also to sandbox things further if desired. Since pfs is used by our portal implementation all apps using it (including #flatpak s) will leverage that automatically.

Month view scrolling performance in #GNOMECalendar nightly has improved by 10 to 30 frames per second on my computers thanks to this simple patch where we tell the month view's widget rows, "Hide yo kids!" (also, we deleted a bunch of code)

Two (hopefully) useful additions to #Phosh's quick settings: There's now a (optional) location service toggle to enable / disable location services (contributed by @gauthamx) and the caffeine quick setting can now automatically disable itself after a given period of time (contributed by @rudraps). The possible timer intervals will become configurable in mobile settings at some point.
