Good to know. I won't be settled until late summer so I haven't started looking yet. It's reassuring to know I won't have to invest 3000$ in a GPU
I am still unsure of which route I'll take, both sides have good and bad points on all metrics, including on eco-friendliness.
The screen on my @PINE64 #pinebookpro is dead and there's no parts available to fix it. Making me weary of investing in a laptop, especially from a smaller manufacturer.

I’ve been a user of gaming laptops for the last decade. My nomadic lifestyle is ending soon and I’ve been considering a tower but I am not sure yet.
The power saving aspect is quite real but what if something breaks and/or needs upgrading?
Combined with the GPU shortage I am not sure which way to go.

I have encountered more image descriptions on Mastodon in 24 hours than I have in Twitter in a couple of years. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating.
As a blind person, this means a lot to me. If you read this and you describe your images, thank you so, so, so much on behalf of all of us. If you don't, now you know you'll be helping random Internet strangers make sense of your posts by typing in a few more words than usual.

I made a little Python app to draw pride flags of your choice.
So far there's gay, bi, lesbian, trans, enby, pan and ace.
Still needs some bugs worked out, but it's a fun little program.

I really don’t get why we even entertain this clown anymore. We know from experience how much of a conniving, self-serving, opportunist he is.
He doesn’t care about Canada and it’s people and never has.
I am always confused when I tell someone something like: “Let’s meet at 1730” and they are confused. The 24 hours clock is such an elegant and precise system.

As a kid I always thought: "Ahh, things will be alright. Grown ups are just over reacting about the world and we have things figured out!"
But growing up you realise how untrue that actually is. It's a mess! The differences on this planet are just enormous and not in a "good way". We are fighting about the most silly things, inventing the most useless stuff and ruing our home in the process. Everyday something new is released and it feels like every single hooman must have every last of it all.
And the biggest frustration for me is that it feels like the people who "rule the world" are all old.. There are no younger people who even have a say in things, I know our gen is the cleanup crew and that's okay but stop making the mess bigger and bigger.
I feel younger people are much more flexible and global focussed, please give us a chance at least..
This is just what I think and feel and I'm prob wrong. At least I hope so
Your review was pretty on point. Entertaining and fun but by no means a good movie. Definitely won’t be remembered for long but not everything needs to be.
