#Norway's minority #LabourParty government won a second term in power on Monday while the populist right achieved its best-ever result, official counts showed, in an election dominated by concerns over rising living costs and wars in #Ukraine and #Gaza.

Incumbent Prime Minister Jonas Gahr #Støre's Labour and four smaller, left-leaning parties won 87 seats, above the 85 needed for a majority, with 99 per cent of ballots counted.

#Paris is fully automating its busy #Metro Line 13, allowing driverless operation. #Siemens Mobility has received the contract, which includes an automation system, a new operations control centre, and equipment for 66 trains. The project should be finished in late 2032. Line 13 is 24km long, serves 32 stations with a daily ridership of ~500,000 passengers.
