Someone close to me was asked a few days ago "Are you pro [party A] or pro [party B]?" in one of the ongoing conflicts in this world.

It reminded me of a newspaper article I recently read that postulated that today we follow the news like a sports game where we chose a side and check how "our" side is doing at the moment.
