The #TbilisiMetro opened on 11 January 1966, making it the fourth metro system in the former #SovietUnion. It consists two lines, serving 23 stations. Most of its stations are deeply built and vividly decorated.

The #SwissNorthernRailway, also known as Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn (lit. Spanish bun railway, named after a local #pastery) was the first railway line in #Switzerland. It opened in 1847 and connected the cities #Zurich and #Baden.

#PuffingBilly, an historic steam train still running regularly in the mountain district, was built to serve at the turn of the century. The #railway is the sole survivor of four experimental lines used to develop rural areas in the early 1900's.
