The problem with my cute plan is that XP only advances the season which is account based across all characters. The only way to advance one character from their singular effort is to equip higher light items obtained from equipment dropping activities.

Resources and chests only reward seasonal XP in areas like on the Moon or in the Cosmodrome, so more is needed, but more would mean breaking the resource farming role-play.

Damn. 😁 Maybe a zone walk will just have to remain a zone walk.

That would be a good use for a Titan. They have the big arms for it.

I'm sad about #Destiny2 losing planetary resources. These resources have a poignant history with #roleplaying since Destiny 1.

Sometimes when tired, it was fun to just walk around, take in the sights and appreciate the world built, and collect materials like picking berries. I imagined that I was helping the Tower economy.

Now it's immersion breaking XP+glimmer. 😦

Argh. Too bad. I'll do it anyway because it's just fun. You can't take away my fantasies!

@GalacticTactic I’d be ok with smaller changes like: if they made the lavatory smarter, and allow for actual drinks dispensing from that section near the door. I don’t mind roleplaying the Max as a work-ship more than a home.

I also hope they update the system modules compartments in the cargo area so they can be opened and worked with for when that’s game loop is introduced.
