Sweden has its own back door proposal in addition to EU’s Chat Control 2.0 and Going Dark. Signal’s president @Mer__edith is clear as always: if you mandate back doors (i.e., vulnerabilities): no more Signal for you. https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/signal-lamnar-sverige-om-regeringens-forslag-pa-datalagring-klubbas
Denna fråga svarade V, C, MP och SD ja på i somras.
Står de alla fast vi det här nu appropå regeringens lagförslag om bakdörrar i totalsträckskrypterade appar som Signal?
Maila dem och fråga!

Many people just learned about Sverige’s chat backdoor proposal from an interview with Signal CEO @Mer__edith with SVT Nyheter. It is similar to the EU’s and UK’s recent chat control proposal.
@dfri fights for digital privacy rights in Sverige and responded to the government’s request for comment in January.
DFRI needs more Svenskar to join as members and donate to its work. It’s 151,50 kr well spent.

"The United Nations general assembly has backed a resolution drafted by Ukraine and the European Union condemning Russia on the third anniversary of its full-scale invasion, spurning a rival US resolution reflecting Donald Trump’s split with Europe and growing union with Vladimir Putin."

Hm, about that, Donald Trump’s growing union with Vladimir Putin. US citizens, are you fine with this happening in your name? Is this what the USA will be now, a helper state for Putin?
Please help me understand this.

"The US had introduced a rival General Assembly resolution, which did not call Russia the aggressor or acknowledge Ukraine’s territorial integrity."
I thought that USA under Trump was supposed to be all about selfishness, but now it seems it's more about being a tool for Putin? Not "America first", but rather "Russia first"? Trump is Putin's puppet?

Nors kyrka i starkt solljus. Tanken var att ta bilder inne i kyrkan, men som den amatör jag är, hade jag inte kontrollerat om kyrkan var öppen. Den var stängd. ☹️

In my line of profession it's prudent to "use all the things" and I have more tech and computers than I like to admit.
There will however NEVER be another Apple device in this household.
If correct this is vile. It appears that Trump dances to the tune of Putins pipe.
US threatens to cut Ukraine's Starlink over minerals dispute. Loss of vital satellite internet would cripple military ops, especially drones.
Stop saying “artificial intelligence”. (And “neural networks” too.)
Be more specific. Say “reinforcement learning”. Say “generative modelling”. Say “Bayesian filtering”. Say “statistical prediction”.
These are incredibly useful tools that have nothing to do with “intelligence”.
And say “model trained on plagiarised data”.
Say “bullshit generator”.
Say “internet regurgitator”.
These are also nothing to do with intelligence, but they have the added bonus of being useless, too.
