Migrating #Dillo from GitHub to our self-hosted server.
I wrote a post about the current situation with #GitHub and how we ended up self-hosting our own infrastructure to be robust against data loss. We now store all important data (including issues) in git repositories which are replicated accross #Codeberg and #Sourcehut.
@sebastian that mikelovesrobots also says this, which I think sums up the situation nicely:
> This whole thing is bullshit.
@Wuzzy great, thanks!
@eliasr To play the games, you need to install Luanti version 5.14.0. You can get Luanti at: https://www.luanti.org/en/downloads/
Then, in Luanti, click on "Content" then on "Browse Online Content". Now you can browse and install all available games here.
A list of all games made for the 2025 Luanti Game Jam can be found here: https://content.luanti.org/packages/?tag=jam_game_2025
Why I 🧡 the web.
After the recent #Cloudflare outage someone built a DownDetector for DownDetector after DownDetector went down.
@meraord är den nya säsongen bra?
This is awesome: the public library in Uppsala, Sweden, has an upcoming workshop called "Give your computer new life - try Linux"
At Stadsbiblioteket (the city library) in Uppsala on Saturday 2025-12-06 at 11:00 - 15:00, together with Uppsala Linux User Group (ULUG)
> "GPT-5 reproduced Alon’s proof and passed it along to us without realizing its source"
This kind of highlights the core functionality of such systems: it's a plagiarism machine. It's truly "useful" if your goal is to throw away authorship information and present something as new, produced by you or your "intelligent" system. The obvious main usecase is fraud.
For anyone interested in honesty and facts, much better to use a search engine that could point to the source.
@airikr det var fint skrivet :-)
@GrapheneOS I'm not talking about /e/ -- what I would like to understand is why you promote Apple so much.
That surprises me, because GrapheneOS is to my understanding FOSS, so I thought you had an understanding of why that's important.
Why is it so important for you to portray Apple's iphone as "secure" and "private"?
I'm repeating myself here, but an iPhone user is completely owned by Apple. How can that be acceptable to you?
@Wuzzy how do I play the games?

Jag fick ett autosvar som sa såhär:
"Delivery has failed to these recipients in Microsoft Teams:
korr<korr@svt.se>"
"We couldn't deliver this message to Teams, because it was flagged by anti spam policies."

This story should be covered waaaaayy more than it is.
The US has sanctioned six judges if the international criminal court ICC, because Trump didn’t like them issuing arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant.
@GrapheneOS it's interesting to see in this discussion how wildly different meanings different people assign to the words "security" and "privacy".
When you say that an iPhone is good for security and privacy, that sounds completely crazy to me. Let me explain why.
An iPhone user is completely owned by Apple. An iPhone user therefore has no privacy, and also no security. An iPhone user does not even attempt to achieve privacy or security.
Do you see what I mean?
Human being. Programmer, sailor, researcher, teacher, student, parent, child, etc. Free/libre and open-source software (FOSS/FLOSS) enthusiast. Likes human rights, including digital rights such as privacy of communication. Casual hacker. On Mastodon since about 2020. Lives in Stockholm. He/him. No DMs.
Everything is politics.
