@araneida if "innovation" here means even more power to huge companies, then I am happy to live in Europe.
I think human rights and democracy are much more important than "innovation", and I suspect that people in Europe are generally better off as human beings.
For example GDPR, someone may claim that GDPR is hindering "innovation". That may be true, but GDPR may still be good. Increased profits and power of huge companies is not (or at least it should not be) the goal of our societies.

Om ni inte visste det så jobbar jag på en tidskrift aom heter Forskning & Framsteg. Den innehåller allt möjligt för den som är intresserad av världen omkring sig. (Bland annat fina biologireportage som jag är rädd att de inte blir så lästa som de förtjänar.) Själv är jag kosmosredaktör!
