@debian what does "DPL" mean?
@Mer__edith sounds super interesting! It would be great if the video could be made available somewhere other than youtube.
Any experienced C developers among my followers? #BoostsWelcome.
Expat, arguably the world's most popular #XML parser, is understaffed and without funding. As #xz has shown, situations like this are dangerous.
Last month, maintainer Sebastian Pipping put up a plea for help at https://github.com/libexpat/libexpat/blob/R_2_6_2/expat/Changes
(I would help myself, but my C skills barely surpass "Hello, World".)

@erincandescent noooooooooooo! the infamous "Threads" thing finally made it into my feed. I guess it was only a matter of time.
If you talk to folks over there, tell them to leave facebook's crap behind and get on a decent (as in non-facebook) instance instead 😄
@neil it's a fascinating approach to tackling a problem of increased number of homeless people -- "let's arrest them!"
> ensuring price stability
Yes, but do we really need price stability that badly? To an extent, sure, but everyone is already used to inflation at a few percent, perhaps it would be okay to have a few percent more yearly price increases because the government is creating more money?
Hm, but a few percent is far from enough to cover all government spending.
Matbe issue a new currency every year to restore prices? 🙃
Respekt!
@Ibex vafalls? redan??
7 years ago today, I arrived in Stockholm from San Francisco. Jag älskar Sverige. 💙 💛
My post from last year: https://www.jeremiahlee.com/posts/till-sverige/
Oh look, more spam sent to my server from Google's Gmail servers, complete with valid DKIM.
This is your reminder that all of the "anti-spam" stuff that Google uses as an excuse to deny inbound email to Gmail users is actually just anti-competitive nonsense that does not work. They're the largest source of spam themselves. The call is coming from inside the house.
Delvis remote.

Who uses @signalapp on a #Linux #Wayland #touch device on #aarch64 architecture?
I do on a #Librem5, via the flatpak provided by @adamth (Elagost).
There is one bug though that I would love to see fixed, and that is that when attaching a file in Signal, the #virtual #keyboard stops responding in Signal.
https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/5798
Do you experience this bug as well?
Is there an #Electron #developer who could help fixing this bug?
I think @schrotie has a point, banks can get money from thin air because governments explicitly allow banks to do that. (One can certainly argue it is a bad idea to allow that, but anyway.) The fact that banks are allowed to do it does not mean it is a good idea for governments themselves to do it. It is governments who need to act responsibly and avoid crashes or other craziness. Banks will only ever care about their own profits, we cannot expect banks to act responsibly. @dcjohnson
@normalniklas festligt.
@xianc78 wow, are you seriously arguing with folks who really believe the earth is flat? Are there many of them?
