Look, I'm famous! Mentioned in this great #FOSDEM talk by @dos https://fosdem.org/2024/schedule/event/fosdem-2024-3200-universal-serial-bug-a-tale-of-spontaneous-modem-resets/ (at 15:40 into that) where he mentions me and says "...one vital observation... " - I made a vital observation! π Proudly adding this to my list of things to brag about.
Much of my life may have been pointless but not all of it: let it be known that I did spend a significant amount of time with trial-and-error to find the exact time delay needed for the USB connection to the #Librem5 modem to break down. π
@zaivala wow, mentioned in Wikipedia, you beat me there! π
@eliasr
Right. I joined a venerable podcast that's been going since 2008, but that doesn't have a Wikipedia page. I started a podcast in 2019 that has now had 50 "monthly" episodes, but that doesn't have a Wikipedia page. Some of the organizations I started over the years may or may not have Wikipedia pages but I did not get mentioned if they did. So my only mention is that I do Full Circle Weekly News, which was my third effort in podcasting, taking over from Leo Chavez almost 4 years ago.
@zaivala @eliasr I see your name Moss on the Wikipedia page for Full circle! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_Circle_(magazine)
@eliasr @dos
Good for you!
With all the multitudinous things I have done and am doing, there is only one page in Wikipedia with my name on it. There really should be a Wikipedia article on mintCast but there isn't. Obviously my music hasn't made a splash. So I'm left with a single mention on the Full Circle Magazine page.
