@itsfoss I tried vibecoding a simple Python script using Copilot; the result was terrible. The script was broken and its code messy. I had to debug issues and explain to Copilot how to properly structure code. The end result still required polish. Overall it didn't save me any time, quite the opposite.

Though considering the rate of progress, in a year or three it will likely become a viable method of creating software, if directed by an actual programmer who knows what they are doing.

Jest to niemoralne, stanowi zaprzeczenie idei mediów (powinny informować, a nie dezinformować), i ma realny negatywny wpływ na ludzkie życie. Jeśli liczą się tylko pieniądze, to niech zaczną emitować kłamstwa Putina, jestem pewien, że Kreml dużo im za to zapłaci.

@steve @neil True, but IME a lot of people use mostly just a web browser. Some also use an email client, office suite, and comms apps like Signal/Discord/MS Teams. For them, moving to Linux won't be hard, as long as someone else can install it for them.

W USA po każdej głośnej strzelaninie jest kilka-kilkanaście (w zależności od rozgłosu) prób mniejszych strzelanin, często mających elementy naśladownictwa. Media naprawdę powinny brać odpowiedzialność za to, co przekazują ludziom i w jaki sposób.

@idahobucks @eff Signal does not meet government requirements, one of which is record keeping. Disappearing chats go contrary to that. I'd imagine another requirement is that users without a government account should not be able to be added to a chat.
