@gsuberland @GossiTheDog "solved" is a strong word, and I forgot to mention xbox live and PlayStation plus.
I am also aware that use of the word "insane" can seem insensitive to some, but I use it in the "original" meaning when I was learning English "not contained by reason".
@gsuberland @GossiTheDog I believe so.
This was right after the insane success of the Wii so everyone wanted some kind motion control gimmick.
The DRM thing is harder to read, but a lot of publishers had started to complain about second hand games because of the increasing costs of post lunch services. This was later solved with annual releases, online passes, and insane gambling mechanics.
@gsuberland @GossiTheDog the original xbox one was packaged with the kinect, and they had some insane online DRM for games. They changed the first one soon after lunch, the second one before.
@shoq this is a nothing burger. Calling an pre-pland abort option for a crash is misleading.
@LALegault okay, that's funny. Or sad, but I would rather laugh then cry.
@LALegault to be fair the "I am mowing to Canada" thing is probably rhetoric.
@nate I would search your package manager for the word "toolbar", you never know.
@nate doesn't their exist free standing toolbars?
@gsuberland well home insurance doesn't pay out unless you followed "industry standards" for all renovations, so I think they would refuse to cover at least the most outrageous violation common sense.
@gsuberland would that even be legal?, home insurance is extremely strictly regulated (in Sweden) where I live.
@puppygirlhornypost2 @nate I actually flunked out of work twice. The first time I got a colleague that couldn't do the job, when I told the higher ups about it they said "it was fine" so I stopped working given that was "fine". I was by far their most productive worker, I didn't come back after the summer break. The second time I stressed my self out before the first day of work , no one reached out to check what happened. If they don't care why should I?
@puppygirlhornypost2 @nate I don't have the context for what it means to work. I was never able to accommodate a work place, or no work place was able to accommodate me depending on how you see it. And not only was my potential employer told I was autistic they received government money and support, they still manged to screw it up.
@nate oh I get it. It just pisses me of to have to accommodate the shity behaviour of adults. Especially when it's people that stands between me and my basic needs.
@nate I don't walk around telling people I am autistic, because as far as I am concerned it's their fucking job as adults to accommodate anyone. Most people don't come with a label screaming what's "wrong" with them, so why should I?
@dalias @GrimmReality you can't really tax charity, unless you want to tax gifts.
taxing gifts are bad for all sorts of reasons, not least because it forces monetisation on everything.
@directhex it have saved me many times from some of my projects with exponential memory leaks.
@GrimmReality but they promised to give away up to 99% of their wealth to a charity they control so they don't have to pay tax...
@kommen good comments describe what isn't in the code.
My favourite comment is the ones describing an obvious optimisation/bug fix and way it breaks everything.
