Has anyone gotten #Seedvault the #Android backup app working? I've tried on five different devices, with Nextcloud, WebDAV and USB thumb drive. In all cases, the backups either failed to restore or it was not possible to set the backup up.
@eighthave It sounds you had potentially different issues, since you said you had issues with backup and then later restore, either one or the other
Don't use the Nextcloud app is all I can say
@lucasmz Have you seen a documented known good configuration? Or have you posted one?
@eighthave for what exactly? for Seedvault I keep it pretty much at default, only disabling automatic restore and changing backup frequency. I don't have a Nextcloud server though.
@eighthave For me it works pretty well, though in Android 16 QPR0 at least, it started to fail a bit with USB devices, but still, working pretty well, though I've had to trigger restore onde or twice (I've had to play with it recently migrating devices and such). Maybe Google fixes it in QPR1/QPR2 but unsure. Android 15 QPR2 was very stable
Have you used the integrity check?
If I were you I'd open up an issue and share some logs around issues
