@quilnux @purism A tool that allows to run a complete Android system inside a Linux Container, using Wayland window as its screen. You can see it in action here: https://social.librem.one/@dos/108918573743188321
@dos
Is the compilation from sources required? Isn't waydroid debian repo compatible? https://docs.waydro.id/usage/install-on-desktops#ubuntu-debian-and-derivatives
@etam This way you end up with the same packages that are going to hit PureOS and what I'll be able to somehow support and help with. A third-party Debian repo may or may not be compatible, could cause troubles with future updates etc.
@silmathoron @purism Yup!
@dos great, waydroid works just fine on L5 now, thanks!
@hans @purism It's getting close - the shipping queue has just reached pre-orders from 2019: https://forums.puri.sm/t/estimate-your-librem-5-shipping/11272
@hans That's not a typo, that's one 2019 order that actually got shipped in Nov 2020, possibly by mistake.
@dos @purism Whats Waydroid?
