This is why projects like Reproducible Builds are so important. Basing all of your security on a company's signature on proprietary code is too risky.

@wromey@mastodon.technology @purism What's the difference if the servers would be in Germany? They goal is to have 'zero knowledge' thus it doesn't matter where the servers are. They can hand out your encrypted mails or chat history but it useless because only you have the key.
