I think #uBlock is not a great choice because it depends on a List maintained by human; Privacy Badger is blocking #Trackers through #heuristic That's way better - and is even made by #EFF like #Https-everywhere Addon that you do already include. A vulnerability in WhatsApp allowed attackers to inject commercial spyware, developed by NSO Group, on to phones.
The spyware could be transmitted through a call, even if the call was unanswered.
It is unclear how many phones were targeted.
