Warum diese reflexhafte Verteidigung? Reminder: Die Abmahnung vom @vzbv@twitter.com hat das Unternehmen u.a. kassiert, weil man sich nicht mal die Mühe gemacht hat die Datenschutzerklärung auf Deutsch anzubieten. Sollen etwa Regel-Ausnahmen für bei Politikern beliebten Apps gelten oder was?

Hab mich das tatsächlich auch schon gefragt. Leider gibt's eben auch viele "passive" accounts, wo man seine Zeit verschwendet wenn man antwortet.
Würds toll finden, wenn die Bio einen Hinweis gäbe.

Falls die Sitzungen nicht komplett E2EE sind (k.a.), wird ziemlich sicher auf dem Server gemixt, weil so das Datenaufkommen u.U. beträchtlich geringer ist.

Glaubst du aber, dass das wirklich debattiert werden muss? Mir scheint, du hast offensichtlich recht, und die die das kritisieren lenken damit geschickt die Diskussion auf Nebenschauplätze, bzw. entwerten feine Arbeit gezielt durch ein Strohmann Argument.

I heard, originally it was a cigarette filter, so all the funnel lobby had to do was pointing out that this was promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.

Activity on the http://matrix.org homeserver has been up 5x over the last few days, and we started to get dangerously close to the ceiling on the Synapse master process again... so we just fixed it with more workers (as per https://matrix.org/blog/2020/11/03/how-we-fixed-synapses-scalability)!
