Well, if you unintentionally misread him as "nothing wrong with iOS", that's ironic.
But what exactly is wrong with qwerty? Most people would be irritated by dvorak or alphabetical. But if you want that, you might be able to have it, as it's all free software.

Qwerty is sub-optimal, but my main point was showing a staggered layout instead of an orthogonal one.
Both those things come from typewriters, they make little sense on computer keyboards, and no sense at all on a touchscreen.
And even using a 100keys keyboard may not be a good idea on mobile. I'm used to Messagease, but there are other attempt out there of input methods for mobile touchscreens.
