Seems to me that #GNOME #Maps 3.38 could be even better on the @purism #Librem5 and the @PINE64 #PinePhone, if these commits would not have been reverted.

@linmob @gnome Is there a reason the changes for libhandy were reverted?

@chrichri @gnome I cloned the repo, ran git checkout -b old-state 17d6861ce8b0da2107e7309779369159ed3023b0 to go back in time and used meson and ninja to compile. It crashed when tapping the navigation menu, complaining about missing telepathy-accounts (or something, did not note that down and ran clear *facepalm*) – after installing that I run into a
Segmentation fault (core dumped). So I would guess that it was right to revert these commits in order to have a working release.

@linmob @gnome Thanks for the effort! Hope that someone can fix it.

@chrichri @gnome I am sure it is going to be fixed eventually. If it won't happen with @gnome 40, it's going to happen with 41.
