Man sollte wirklich #mastodon nicht so viel mit #twitter vergleichen. Das eine ist ein unreguliertes, überhyptes Projekt in den Händen von Amateuren, das andere eine seriöse Open Source Bewegung.

Ich vermute, dass viele dieser Firmen dem "Hype Tech Fallacy" verfallen sind.

@GIMP for advanced photo editing
#Piwigo and @pixelfed for publishing

The nice thing is that #digiKam integrates with all of the other tools (except #Pixelfed AFAIK), resulting in a nice workflow. My latest photos are always visible on my #Piwigo based website:
