@ajmartinez Have you used just a single HDMI monitor connected to the L14 HDMI port on PureOS and seen if Joined Displays works? I seem to be having trouble after the recent EC upgrade and I"m wondering if its just me lol

@rbrown I’ll give it a shot today and let you know. I don’t join or mirror myself. I do use the HDMI directly with my current EC (the one from my fork), but I use it as the only display. I think I left the USB-C to DP cable plugged in too so I can try both.

@ajmartinez Aweome thank you!. I have no problem with USB-C to DP on it, just HDMI -> HDMI and joined displays.

@rbrown okay, that’s easier then. Fishing that cable out, and then remembering which string of profanity and random button smashing makes my monitor decide to let me choose the input can be time consuming. Shouldn’t take long to set the displays to join and See What Happens.

@rbrown join works fine for me with the HDMI port. Insert key too, though I tend to use it with a mechanical keyboard and not the awful onboard one. ctrl-shift-v pastes in the terminal, and other keys paste in Emacs, so I don't miss shift-insert much but that was why I wanted to fix it in the EC. Matt already did it though, so I just went after the numpad next just because it bothered me that I couldn't use it even if I wanted to.

@ajmartinez Thanks for testing it! I'll look further into my particular case to see if I can figure it out
