Did you know Algorithm as we use it today in Artificial Intelligence and in computer science was invented in Persia 1000 years ago?

The term "algorithm" is derived from the algorism, the technique of performing arithmetic developed by the Persian mathematician and astronomer al-Khwārizmī. Algorizmi so his name became algorithm by time, from al-Khwarizmi to àAlgorizmi and later to algorithm.

I emailed #IFTTT about adding #Fediverse apps like #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, #Misskey & #WriteFreely & they really liked the idea! They wanted to talk to the platform creators & will try to reach out to them about this (they are also asking fans of the platforms to reach out as well).
