@Stbrie@mastodon.sdf.org Sure, but blocking spammy email servers is the same as blocking spammy Fediverse servers. You gotta be one that doesn't get blocked. ;) It's not too difficult to get off the email block lists though. I've done it a few times. If we're talking about using email on Fediverse instances, isn't that a requirement at least for Mastodon here? docs.joinmastodon.org/user/run

@sri My vote would be to throw this PHP form into the profile and be done. formspammertrap.com/implement. That's what I use on my website and it's fantastic for blocking spam and enabling comms. The form could be disabled for Fedi blocked users/instances.
