Remember when "GIMP" was declared an offensive name, and it was forked? What ever happened to that?

@lunduke And it was the perfect time for a GIMP fork... "all" they needed to do was release 3.0 first (switch to GTK 3 and remove python 2). Maybe remove some unfinished features, drop plugins, etc. Distros would start packaging it (successor to GIMP, with cruft removed), and I would be using it (Gimp, but it works on HiDPI screens).
@lunduke And hey, GIMP 3.0 isn't released yet, so there's still time for a fork (woke or otherwise) to take off.
