Four years later and... I'm still running the same hardware!

I probably ought to upgrade the disks and the RAM at some point - but it is *such* a workhorse.

OK! I've purchased a new mircoserver!

So, #Linux nerds, which OS should I install on it?

I usually use #Ubuntu - but they've pissed me off recently with their forced adverts and lack of flatpak support.

So should I go for #Debian? #NixOS? Or something else?

@Edent I switched my servers from Ubuntu to Alpine. While initial configuration is trickier, I like the larger software repository, which is easier to contribute to, IME.
