I really appreciate how readily *monogatari will discard realistic architecture, continuity, and basic sanity in the service of good dialogue seens.
Just watched a scene where two parties were speaking over the phone, and over the course of their conversation, one party was in four completely different locations, and by the end of the scene, neither of them was using a phone anymore.
