Germany needs to get over its past to build a better future for itself. So tired of seeing assholes abusing history so they can wag their finger and gain advantage in the present. Sort of a tangent but hate speech laws are a manifestation of such a phenomenon.

I guess my main point would be that wringing our hands about crimes in the past that most are too young to remember seems to be doing more harm then good, especially if the actual lessons of history are missed.

@terryenglish @r000t these laws are mostly still in place in germany because of old people who actually live in that time. Removing laws is a not exactly a priority of the german gov... or any gov for that matter and is also being reinforced nowadays because or retarded larping edgelords. So I dont see it going away any time soon
