JCS said he'd look into it, but that's all we've heard. Speculation has trended toward incompetence more than malice, but the users/customers have no view into relationships/circumstances.
@purism communication flaws have almost reached legendary status; almost every customer has found at least one instance of poor communication.
@lwriemen @purism I ended up checking in on the thread you linked there. I really appreciate all the kind words people shared in the thread. Unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to login to my old forum account anymore (I imagine it was part of an employee account clean up at some point) so I can’t share my appreciation directly, but hopefully someone from that thread will see this and know that their kind words really meant a lot.
@lwriemen @purism I think it's really sweet that someone cared to speak up on my behalf.
I doubt it's malice, I left on good terms after they laid me off and while there's plenty I *could* say, I guess, I've mostly kept my opinions about the company to myself.
As difficult as my time there was at the end, and as painful as it was to be laid off after all the sacrifice, it was for the best in the long run and I just want to turn the page and put it all behind me at this point.
