Is it weird that I don't know how to knit, but I want a #knitting machine (like a Brother KX-350, but a KH-930e would be cool too)?

my grandmother had one and i have to agree. it was really hard work. But i remember ( maybe on #hackaday ) a DIY project to convert manual knitting machine into #cnc like.
